As a piercer my goal is not only to produce the best product I can for you, but also to make your piercing experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

About Me
Having fallen in love with body piercing when I was 13, by the time I turned 17 I found the shop I knew I wanted to call home. It took 3 years of persistence to finally be taken in by the amazing Maytee Bringas. As one of her loyal customers I already knew how amzing she was but she turned out to be, quite frankly, the best person I have ever met. After just 3 months under her wing I already began doing basic piercings on customers. After a year I was officially head piercer at what is now her very own shop called Sunset Tattoo Parlour. Although circumstance eventually led me to Miami Beach, I am forever indebted to her. Working in Miami Beach, a place with such a huge and diverse customer base, quickly jetsetted my skills. Inspired by the beauty of body piercing I began creating Art using the body as my canvas and still have more ideas in the works. I continue to push myself every day and dedicate myself fully to every customer. In June 2011 I flew to Las Vegas, NV for my first solo voyage to be among and learn from the best of the best in the industry. I hope by the next conference to be an official member of the Association of Professional Piercers which would make me the only one in Miami.

Getting Pierced Dont forget your ID! Even if you are 80 years old, we still need to see your identification or by law, we cannot pierce you. Acceptable forms of ID are: state issued ID cards drivers licenses or permits passports military IDs.Make sure to eat a full meal 3-4 hours before getting pierced. This is a preventive measure to ensure proper blood sugar levels. Eating a full meal prior to piercing will help to reduce the possibility of becoming lightheaded or queasy. It is illegal for us to pierce you if you are under the influence of any drugs, that includes alcohol.If you have any medical conditions it is advisable to consult with your physician first.It is our policy to refrain from piercing you if you are nursing or pregnant, to insure the safety of your child.If you have any questions or any special circumstance and arn't sure what to bring or do just give me a call (305) 531-0204

Info for Minors

"Copies of the written notarized parental consent statements required by Section 381.0075(7), F.S., for minors. The statements must describe the type of piercings that will be performed on the minor."

You will have to come in to the shop to first aquire a release form from us. A copy can be e-mailed upon request if you would like to be prepared before you arrive.

There are several locations close to the shop but keep in mind that if you come in very late at night or on sundays they may not be open. In these cases we can get a notary to come to the shop but it will cost you substantially more than the usual $5 fee. Plan accordingly and give us a call at the shop if you have any further questions.

Art Projects

Body and Facial What you will need:>Packaged Sterile Saline Wound Wash or... a non-iodized sea salt mixture: >Dissolve no more than 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized (iodine-free) sea salt into >one cup (8 oz) of warm distilled or bottled waterWhat you'll need to do:>Always wash hands before handling a healing piercing.>Soak a cotton ball or gauze with Saline solution and hold it against the piercing for 5-10 minutes.I Recommend for most piercings to do this morning, noon and night; three times a day. If you think it needs extra cleaning you can use the saline solution 3-5 times a day.If you feel you need a little extra oomph you can also use A mild, frangrance free liquid soap; preferably Anti-microbrial or Anti- germicidal>Using warm water wet the area.>Create a lather using the liquid soap and water and gently clean the area.>Fully rinse the area and let it air dry you may use a blow dryer on the cold setting.

Oral What you will need:>Antimicrobial or antibacterial alcohol-free mouth rinse and/or >Packaged Sterile Saline solution or...a non-iodized sea salt mixture: >Dissolve no more than 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized (iodine-free) sea salt into >one cup (8 oz) of warm distilled or bottled waterWhat you'll need to do:Rinse mouth after any time you eat or smoke (although smoking during healing period is highly frowned upon and will slow down the healing process)The tongue will swell for the first 3-6 days so if you can take over the counter, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen or Advil it could assist with swelling as well as plenty of ice ^.^ Once the swelling has subsided it is very important to come in and change the longer barbell to a shorter one. This service is free for my customers. ^.^

Dermal Anchor Care >For the first 4 days keep the dermal covered with a small bandage that applies light pressure.>You should allow it to breathe before bed and clean residue from bandaid but keep dermal dry.>Starting day 5 follow same instructions for body piercing aftercare.Until they are fully healed continue to wear a bandage to bed or if you will be very active (sports, dancing, etc) and/or if you will be wearing tight clothing directly over it (which should be avoided).
